2015 Highlander, 190k miles, subtle thud through steering wheel

Wife's Highlander has a subtle thud felt through the steering wheel. It's faint, to the point that she may not have noticed it at all. It happens when turning very sharply at low speed, like when parking. It also happens sometimes when coming to a stop, but not every time. Usually just one thud. It feels like a soft bump rather than a sharp pop. No dashboard warning lights. Drives normally otherwise.

Vehicle: 2015 Toyota Highlander, about 190,000 miles

Curious what this sounds like to anyone who has dealt with something similar on their Highlander. Trying to get a sense of what to ask the shop to look at before I take it in.
