Most recent ACEO series

Inspired by my cat King Henry, because almost everything I create is somewhat inspired by Henry! 👑🐈‍⬛❤️🙃

I’m back with Punk Rock Slugs!

Got a little carried away with this second batch, but I very much love how they turned out! 🙃

I may be having way too much fun with my aceos 😂

I am just getting started making aceos, and I’ve been very into slugs lately, so I went down a rabbit hole with this series. I don’t know how the final write up for these will go, as it may be too long winded, but for the sake of fun I thought I’d post their introduction here……

Welcome to Neighborhood Slugs— a deeply concerning cul-de-sac inhabited entirely by emotionally complicated mollusks.

This ACEO series features 9 local residents, each with their own hobbies, secrets, passive aggressive tendencies, and suspicious amount of free time.

Included in the neighborhood:
🐌 a slug who absolutely reports people to the HOA
🐌 a slug who says “I’m just being honest” before every insult
🐌 a slug with three air fryers and no dining table
🐌 someone’s divorced uncle
🐌 at least one pyramid scheme participant

I made each slug as an individual character with their own tiny personality bio because apparently my brain now works exclusively in “strange suburban cryptid” mode.

Anyway. Please say hello to the neighborhood. They already know your business.

This write up will probably be used just across my social media platforms, but I thought it was cute.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Question from a beginner.

I have just started getting into making aceos, mostly as a challenge to myself to create art on a much smaller scale compared to what I’m used to. I saw some people that make certificates of authenticity for their cards, and was wondering if they should be included on top of labeling the back of cards, should I have both? Just curious what collectors and artists prefer? This is the first set of cards I’ve made so far, I’m really having fun with them!
