Found in Colorado open space. What animal is it?
With this sinus cavity, it seems to rule out marmite, vole, mink, weasel. Perhaps there was a beak removed? But I’m not convinced it’s a crow or a woodpecker or some other bird. Perhaps a rabbit? Cottontail? But again with that open sinus cavity, I’m not totally convinced. Definitely not a turtle or snake or house cat. What is it?
