Has anyone else noticed the noise level on the train? In addition to the loud overhead announcements at every stop, some riders take FaceTime calls or phone calls on speaker. I really wish people would be more aware of their surroundings and respectful of the space they share with others on public transportation. For example, fellow riders may not be interested in hearing what toppings someone put on their dinner pizza.

I've also noticed that some people don't start gathering their belongings until after the train has come to a complete stop. It might be helpful to have everything ready as the train slows down and approaches the station. When one person is searching for their sunglasses or packing up at the last minute, the train and everyone on the train are waiting for them. This can potentially increase dwell times at each stop and cause delay.

I’m not sure how RTD can address this effectively—maybe through signs or public awareness campaigns? I’d be interested to hear if anyone has ideas for encouraging better rider etiquette and helping RTD tackle this issue. After all, we’re all in this together.
