Firewood 150lbs + stuff
I commute 5.3 miles to work, and 5.3 back. I work in a cabinet shop that has an abundance of wood scraps. I also have a woodstove. It’s a great mix and I pay very little to heat my home. Today, i made the first step to bringing home fuel with a bicycle.
Oh and I chose the rainiest day of May in Rhode Island to do this…
Trailer was from Lowe’s (275lbs load capacity, yes Lowe’s sells bicycle trailers!) Bike is from 2004 (Gary Fisher Marlin-Genesis, repainted and modified with drops). Panniers and stuff from the internet. Total weight with wood, trailer, bike, rider…. Somewhere in the 350-400lbs range.
