Atto1 Essential - Will it Work?
Hi people - I'm looking into leasing an Atto 1 through work as a commuter. Work is a 70 to 90km round trip and school runs, shops etc are all around 20-30km trips. So I'm feeling confident the range should be adequate with the only minor concern being a lot of the driving is highway. Usually 500+km per week.
Essentially the plan is to run the EV as an everyday car and keep the diesel ute for caravan trips etc. The current lease set up would be roughly equal to if not slightly less than my fuel bill so the more I look the more it seems like a free car just in those savings - not to mention reduced insurance and maintenance costs.
Any holes in my plan I'm missing?
- already had multiple novated lease quotes and the numbers check out
- fuel usage was based on $2.70/L, so it's already gone up
- 95% of my driving is well and truly in that 100km zone
- single adult and two pre teen children (car will probably become a first car for one post lease)
