Yakushi is probably the school which is gonna be the most affected after the summer of act 2

And the one and only reason is : Sanada

Like I don’t think any other team depends on one certain player for them to give their hundred percent. He has been quite literally the pillar of Yakushi since act 1 summer. He is the only guy in the team who could keep the rowdiness of Yakushi in check and navigate it. And this isn’t isn’t even adding his ability as a player into the mix.

Yall thought Inanshiro missed Harada in the fall tournament? Well Yakushi will prolly fall off in the group stages for fall. Ofc I give Raichi, Mishima and Akiba their flowers but they are all wild horses who need a direction. Tomobe ( the freshman pitcher ) is certainly not even close to being a Sanada replacement ( not that he should ).

Is Sawamura v Ichidai during spring tournament the greatest super-sub performance in the series

Sawamura took the mound with bases loaded, their Ace shat the bed, his team is struggling to hit off anything off the Amahisa AND they got the cleanups INCLUDING Hoshida stepping up to the base with just one out.

And obviously, he shuts them out like a fucking GOAT, HITS a double off Amahisa RIGHT after that, doesn’t give off a hit to Sankou , 0 Walks and fights of a walk from Amahisa which also means he bat at 100 in two at bats

I was just thinking, does Tollywood has in it to do a series like The Bear?

I’m currently watching it for the first time in the first season just blew my fucking mind. I saw a comment on The Bear subreddit, and it said “this show makes art in a way which not only comforts you but also disturbs you” - and I couldn’t agree more. The way it showed real people struggles was so fucking beautiful, even more so because I kind of empathize on most of the situations in the show.

And a random thought came to me, like is it possible for Tollywood to do such a series? Like The Bear not only has fresh talent, but they also have seasoned cash who pull off their roles, beautifully respective of the Screen Time, their character, etc. Could our industry do such a series which pokes the uncomfortable part of many people’s lives ?

Personally, I don’t think so. I don’t think the average audience would be thrilled to see cinema “heroes” being weak, mentally disturbed etc. I don’t think they would like to see people actually struggling yet moving forward , on screen. Jeremy Allen White fucking nailed every time he appeared on the screen, and he wouldn’t get a fraction of the appreciation he got IF he does a series similar in here.

Such a shame that all we do rn is make a movie into three parts , replicate KGF/Pushpa filter , mediocre scripts with high budgets and hike the ticket prices when we could have quality shows/movies
