I’ve been learning as I go and I’ve already come across scams that look SO convincing. So no gatekeeping here — if I learn something that might save another girl £££, I’m sharing it. 💅🏼
🚩 YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY $99 FOR A “VERIFIED FEET SELLER 👑**” BADGE ON REDDIT**
Pleaseeee don’t send someone $99 because they tell you that you need a crown emoji to become a verified seller.
Reddit’s official profile verification is FREE and uses a grey checkmark. This is for businesses and pro users which is being trialed at the moment. Someone selling you “official Reddit verification” is NOT Reddit.
Some individual subreddits have their own verification/flairs, but that is completely different.
🚩 NEVER PAY MONEY TO RECEIVE MONEY
If your “buyer” says:
“Just pay the $30 clearance fee 💕”
“You need to upgrade your account first.”
“Pay this fee and your $2,000 will be released.”
“I’ve sent it, you just need to verify it.”
Girl. NO. 😭
You are SELLING. Why are we suddenly paying the customer?!
🚩 THEIR SCREENSHOT MEANS NOTHING
I learned this one quickly.
Someone can send you the prettiest, most professional-looking screenshot saying they’ve sent you thousands.
Open YOUR payment app yourself.
Is the money actually there?
No? Then you haven’t been paid.
Don’t click their links and don’t trust screenshots.
🚩 THE BIG MONEY OFFERS CAN BE THE BAIT
Getting offered $1,000/$2,000 when you’ve only just started feels AMAZING.
And that’s exactly when you need to switch your brain back on 😂
If they’re supposedly sending you $2,000 but desperately need you to send them $30 first… keep your £30 babe. 💅🏼
🚩 PROTECT YOURSELF
Never give a buyer your:
❌ Password
❌ Verification code
❌ Banking login
❌ PIN
❌ Sensitive account screenshots
❌ Money to “release” your payment
And please don’t spend hours making someone’s custom order until the payment arrangement you’ve agreed on is actually sorted.

There are girls starting this every single day who genuinely have no idea what they’re supposed to pay for or what “verification” is supposed to look like.
I nearly got caught out because I’m new too — and that’s exactly why I’m posting this.
No embarrassment. No gatekeeping. We learn, we tell each other, and hopefully the next girl keeps her money. 💕👣
Remember: you’re the seller. The money should be coming TO YOU. 💅🏼
