Which option is better?

I have a job offer for a smaller telehealth start up and they are located close to where I live. The other offer is for a larger telehealth company that’s already more established nationwide. (It is not one of the larger telehealth companies with a bad reputation, it seems reasonable.) The larger one offers more pay and the smaller one feels like they might prioritize my schedule more but I am not sure. Larger one is 1099 and still a bit more pay than the smaller one which is W2 pay. I don’t know which choice to make. I’ve gone through a few of these telehealth jobs now and I’m constantly positioning myself to pivot to another opportunity due to the changes that keep happening in the field of telehealth.

Standing or sitting during sessions

Is it ok to use a standing desk and stand for part of your video sessions with telehealth clients? It’s hard to sit for several hours at a time. I feel weird changing to a standing or sitting position during a session and there isn’t always time between clients to move around a lot.

Nutrisense offer

I received an offer letter from Nutrisense. So far I don’t have other options even though I have a lot of experience. Is Nutrisense a bad option?

Is it standard in telehealth to have 8 straight patient facing hours a day? For example, is 16 thirty minute appointments a day standard expectation now?

Is it common in counseling for weight loss to get clients who want just one visit? I get a lot of people who want to get a whole lot of information out of just one visit (or just a few visits) and they never come back. They come with a long list of questions and it’s hard to get them off the phone to get to my next appointment so there’s no time left for charting. It’s exhausting. I wonder if this is common. I try to set boundaries and address just the priorities for the first session but they don’t stop firing off questions.

Edit post: I have a good group of patients who are making great progress with weight loss. I’m experienced with motivational interviewing. I get weight loss concepts and know how to properly guide my patients, I have several with complex health issues and they’re doing very well. My frustration is with some people who just want to come to one session for an information grab.
