Ottawa/Sydney Ecopr
It has been a long wait since February 2026! 🇨🇦
I was very anxious about my application because there were no updates for a long time. However, I believe the long wait was due to my PVO being Ottawa.
To everyone with an Ottawa PVO, please don't panic. Stay calm and be patient. Whenever I saw an update from another Ottawa–Sydney profile, I felt happy because updates were so rare during the waiting period, and seeing them gave me hope.
Good things take time! ❤️
Please don't compare your timeline with that of other applicants, especially those with a different PVO. I learned this the hard way.

AOR: February 4, 2026
BIL: April 10, 2026
Medical: April 17, 2026
FD: September 10, 2026
P1: September 11, 2026
Duplicate P1: September 14, 2026
P2: September 22, 2026
ECOPR: October 9, 2026 (14:22 EST) Montreal
My work permit was about to expire on October 10, 2026 was not receiving any update so applied BOWP on October 7, 2026 and today I received ECOPR.
Note: If anyone waiting for their PR and didn’t received P1 before 1 month of expiry date for work permit please apply for BOWP as it will take time.
