I had a realization recently that I don't think we've seen a single dog or cat directly in the games. We've seen monstrous wolves and people who have the aesthetics of a dog or cat, hell even a robot dog, or so I was told about a character from Distortion Detective. We've seen cows, chickens, and other farm animals (even a blood horse) that are used for something practical; But never just a regular dog.

So are they a thing? Is the Head against them somehow? Has it just never came up?
