How could I glow up using skincare

Always struggled with self-esteem issues due to my look and constantly being made to feel ugly, but it got better over the years. I'm about to go to college and I've been in a group chat where once I posted my pic, I got clowned for my looks and camera quality so I'm here to ask how to glow up using skincare. I currently don't have a routine so I'm open to any suggestions and products recommended

Description because I don't think the camera fully highlights the issue

Face texture feels rough and dry with my right side of my face feeling drier than the other and my forehead is acne prone and I think I have acne scars due to picking at it

stopped using this routine as I felt it wasn't getting me anywhere but it was used for over 3 months

Old Day Routine:

Cleanser: Cerave foaming cleanser

Toner: The ordinary glycolic acid 7% exfoliating toner

Serum: hyaluronic acid water gel ibcccndc

Moisturizer: Cerave Moisturising lotion

Sunscreen: nivea sun protect and moisture 50+ spf

Old Night Routine

Cleanser: Cerave foaming cleanser

Toner: didn't use one and would use acnecide face 2.5%

Serum: hyaluronic acid water gel ibcccndc and anua niacinamide

Moisturizer: Cerave foaming cleanser

I don't use any products currently because I lost hope but I'm looking for a fresh start so I'm coming to this reddit group for help
