Note: The state-wise breakdown of applications is only available for Tranches 1,2,3 and 5. There is no publicly available info of Tranche 4. Its estimated based on existing location of the approved Company and its Existing plant.

No of applications doesn't represent an accurate picture about Total investment. More than 50% of investment was received by Tamil Nadu while Karnataka only receiving around 10% despite almost equal applications.

Tranche 1 breakdown:

Andhra Pradesh — ₹765 cr

Madhya Pradesh — ₹496 cr

My Commentary: Tamil Nadu got more than half of the jobs and investment, but it would be treated as a reflection of Tamil Nadu’s own capabilities. You will see no outrage from other states; no one will cry that they have been wronged. Neither Kannadigas nor Gujaratis. The Opposition will continue to call out the BJP for jeopardizing investments in other states.

When Karnataka or Tamil Nadu receives investment, it is attributed to their own capabilities. When Gujarat does, it is attributed to central favours. Yet no one is ready to acknowledge that Gujarat and Assam provided the most capital support, access to water, an ecosystem, or power support, had a comprehensive Semiconductor policy before anyone.

Just asking, Who is covering the costs of rabies injections?? Taking 1500 as an approximate cost for 4 doses of rabies vaccine. It costs India 600 crore every year. Is The Supreme Court paying this or the dog lovers.

If we euthanise these dogs, I bet we can recover the whole amount within a year while getting rid of pests in our cities. Just because of a small group of Sympathetic fools, a whole country of 1.5 billion has to suffer. And think about people who don't even have access to healthcare.

Notice how Gujarat, Assam and Odisha were first states to introduce semicon policy. Gujarat got 6 plants, Odisha 2 and Assam,UP 1.
