I just passed the aptitude test and have the interview on july 27th i have my osha 10 and my EPA. What else can i do to better my chances at joining and how many ppl get accepted each period?

i recently passed the aptitude test at the local 211 in houston texas and am now waiting on the interview at the end of the month. I have my epa and my osha 10 and am wondering if anyone works at a company partnered with the union who can give me a boost and a leg up since i know they don't accept a lot of people. If you can help me or work at a company contracted with the union can you please message me. I am a hard worker willing to learn and be a sponge and am never late with reliable transportation. I also attended a 16 week hvac course at san jacinto college and have the cert. thank you
