For context, I’ve had the AMEX gold for 5 months now. I’ve paid it off in full a day before the statement closing date so I’ve never ever owed a payment on it. I have spent a few thousand dollars every single month, I received the platinum preapproval and will give 100K bonus if $12,000 is spent within six months. The 895 annual fee is quite high. I do plan on doing some traveling maybe four times a year and the Resy credits seem nice. My question is Would it be better to go with the Delta platinum opposed to the normal Amex platinum? To save a bit on the fee or is that is the American Express platinum really that beneficial of a card seeing as I already have the gold.
