Can you smell the copal?

I could burn this stuff all day, every day! I’ve only just discovered it and it’s incredible. So far black copal & white. Next will be gold copal.

Burning white copal in my makeshift copalero

I’ve been looking for a pottery copalero. Crazy expensive to order online. Instead, I found this “goblet” from a local potter & it works great! I love copal. I could burn it all day every day.
What are your favourite copals?

Looking for a copalero

Hi everyone, I’m in Canada and looking for a traditional copalero like the one shown here. Any suggestions on where I can find them for sale in Canada, or reasonable shipment costs to Canada? TIA.

Please help… charcoal won’t stay lit

Hello incense community. I’ve recently just discovered the magic of burning incense (oud Bakhoor so far). I love it!
In this vintage burner however, the charcoal disc goes out after a few minutes. My hunch is that there isn’t enough oxygen getting to the charcoal as it just sits inside this brass burner (no screen for it to sit on or anything).
Any suggestions on how I can enjoy my vintage burner? TIA.
