Haunted Warren Museum: you must give them rights to all surveillance (audio and visual) they collect of you during your visit. Including kids.

When you buy tickets for the Haunted Warren Museum the member of your party purchasing the tickets must commit to a waiver. It's been dismissed as a form of theater as you sign away your right to sue should you become possessed... but towards the end is a paragraph which I find most troubling.

>I consent to being recorded via audio and visual means and all resulting recordings may be used in any manner and in all media.

Is this our new future? To visit a museum -- in which you cannot record anything -- you must commit to being in their publicity going forward? Or humor clips? Bolded as in the original.

Additional: the entire waiver is pretty much copied from that for the Zak Bagans Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, except that the surveillance and publicity rights grab is considerably more expansive. https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5ecd832e6a1d5/web/

Cheap tech: the Magic 100 Ball (or 8 or 20)

Assuming ghosts/poltergeists/unconscious human agents can manipulate physical objects the Magic 8 Ball can be used as a random answer generator. You can make a Magic 6,8,20, or 100 Jar by creating a list of X number of responses assigned to numbers, and putting the appropriate gaming die in a small jar of ink. Hold it upside down, shake it, and read the result off the bottom of your jar.

Show the spirits the list before your question session. Hey, it's a mechanical object with just as much "scientific validity" as the phone word bank apps (Ovilus).

Yeah, I took my Magic 8 Ball apart when I was a kid.
