Fishing

So I’m going up this weekend and was hoping to get into some small mouth bass and really whatever else bites. I’m going to be camping on brown tract pond so I was curious what the fish are biting. I figured they’ll eat top water around sunrise and sunset but what kind of lures should I sue during the day?

What lakes am I allowed to hunt on come waterfowl season?

I know waterfowl season is still a few months away but I’m really eager to go out and hunt in the Adirondacks. So I was just curious what lakes I’m allowed to hunt on I know there’s information online on the Dec website but i figured I’d ask some of the locals. I live down in Syracuse and there’s not to many places around to go and hunt around me without a big boat and i unfortunately don’t have much private land to hunt either. If there’s any spots that anyone recommends it would be greatly appreciated. And I also want to bear hunt for the first time and would love to know where i could do that also. Not looking to have anyone give up their honey holes just looking for general recommendations on where i can hunt
