I currently know the entirety of op. 27 no. 2 (moonlight) and a little bit of each movement of op 13. (pathetique). I am also working on learning all Chopin waltzes at the moment. I am wondering if there are any other sonatas from Beethoven (or any peices from any composer) I should learn before even attempting Waldstein. Thank you to everyone in advance!
I was working on Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with a free pdf file from imslp but there were no fingerings whatsoever and it was extremely tedious trying to figure out fingerings for difficult passages. I’m just wondering if anybody has a file just for Piano 1 with at least some fingerings (and maybe pedal markings) that they could share. Thank you in advance for everyone who can help out!
I have the wonderful chance to play cello in my local youth symphony and every concert the organizers give selected students the chance to perform a concerto. My cello teacher wants me to perform a piano concerto because there were numerous students who already played cello concertos in the past and she knows that I'm pretty decent and the piano. I'm just wondering what concerto I should play considering this is going to be the first one I shall perform for a crowd. I really enjoy playing romantic pieces from composers like Chopin or Liszt but I'm fine with playing anything that sounds pleasing to the ears. My piano teacher recommended Beethoven Piano Concerto no. 1 op. 15 but I was wondering what other options I could get for a beginner's concerto. Thank you in advance.
