I need a lighter

Anyone have a recommendation on a good dependable lighter? I’m tired of the butane bic lighters that never seem to work.

Looking for something to light campfires, camp stoves, etc. and something that works every time!

House problem

I (homeowner) am having a problem that I am trying to figure out. Twice, the main breaker at the power pole has tripped. Each time, my wife has been running her pottery kiln (240v / 60 amp - maybe 50 can't remember). The breaker at the subpanel feeding the kiln did not trip. Both times were during the day, so air conditioner running etc.

The main breaker was replaced a couple years ago.

Do you think the kiln is the culprit? If so, do you have an idea why the main breaker would be tripping and not the breaker on the subpanel? If not, do you have any other ideas?

Central Texas find

I found this today on the river bottom of the Pedernales River. We get lots of floods here so no telling where it started. Is it a mastodon tooth?

Champions at TL 1000

Are champions worth anything at TL above 1000? Is there any combo of champion equipment that makes them useful at all?

Champion skill

If I dump a bunch of troops - more than can fit on the screen - then use the Champion skill, does it combine all the troops I dumped or just the ones on the screen?

Thanks.

Out of memory

Any tips on preventing the out of memory error? I had a 25 minute battle and got the error right at the end. I’ve had longer battles that finished fine so I’m not sure what changed.

I’m using Age of Wars to attack Robot Level.

Thank you

I just visited my dad at the hospital. The amount of care and compassion shown by each and every nurse that went into his room was overwhelming. He was treated with dignity and respect in every conversation. Everyone addressed him by name and showed actual interest in him. My wife and I were incredibly touched.

Thank you all for what you do.

First trip

Just got back from our first trip. Did Shafer and the White Rim Trail at Canyonlands. Drove my 2015 F250 with a Softopper.

Went (clockwise) all the way to Potato Bottom the first day. Went the rest of the way, including the Moses and Zeus trail, the second day. Came back and camped at Hardscrabble. Third day, left the park and went to Dead Horse State park then rentered the park and drove the Potash Road to Moab. Ended up at Upper Hermosa in Colorado for a third night.

No problems at all. Averaged 9 mpg on the trail, down from 16 normally.

My wife has been bingeing overlanding videos on yt and shopping for sleeping bags. It was a blast. So much fun getting to a secluded spot and relaxing.

Thanks for this reddit. So much good info here.

My 20# tank has frost going about half way up the outside of the tank after using for a while. The regulator is cold but has no frost.

Is this a sign that the regulator is going bad?

Thanks.
