I just installed Void Linux on my 2012 VAIO laptop, which is still my main rig, and I have to say: I’m genuinely impressed.

I don’t say this lightly when it comes to Linux distros, but I’m amazed by how fast, customizable, and snappy Void feels. It’s exactly what I was looking for, and this old laptop feels better than I expected it to.

Are there any tips or tweaks you’d recommend to make Void Linux even better?

Here are my system specs:

• NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE
• Intel Core i5
• 8 GB DDR3 RAM
