First year housing assignments go out by email today* and that usually inspires a rush of threads asking about every building. Perhaps we can use this thread for all the discussion.

Remember that there are loads of dorm tour videos on YouTube (the official UVA Housing channel and by student vloggers), TikTok, and Instagram. The Housing website has pictures and floor plans with measurements.

There are also lots of threads already here about the different buildings. The rooms haven’t changed all that much since the big renovations a few years ago.

This is an exciting step on the journey to UVA!

I have to close my office door to watch these every time. So proud of you all!
