Hey everyone, I just got the news I was non selected or placed on an eligibility list. I find it odd as I received a text from the chief three weeks ago asking if I was still interested, which to me seemed like we were about to move onto the chiefs interview. I’ve now gotten an email that says they moved onto another candidate and I can’t reapply within three years? Is that an excessive time? I was in backgrounds for about two months, and I’m confused that it would have taken this long to DQ me? I also took a CVSA but wasn’t told whether I passed or failed, and that itself was a month and a half ago with no word until the text.

Any speculation or thoughts are appreciated, I’m very bummed about this.
