Being an elder millennial myself (41), visiting from the US, one of the things that surprised me about your beautiful city was just how expensive cost of living is in comparison to the salaries. For example, I live in Houston, TX where corporate white collar salaries seem to be significantly higher than Vancouver and even more so when you account for the exchange rate. And our cost of living is significantly less.

I know many of you will think “yeah but you have to live in Houston/Texas”, which is a fair point, but it really is surprising how different cost of living vs salaries are.

Is it the Weather Channel or Apple Weather apps? Or is there a more local resource that people use?

What I’d really like to know is will my Vancouver vacation be rainy next week 6/27-7/4? 😭
