And before anyone else says, "Just leave," I was at my school before they were. To paraphrase Office Space , "Why should I change? [s]He's the one who sucks."
Is this the new "Fold In the Cheese"? Seems to be. My admin can't explain it in a way that makes sense, but they can look disappointed and pissy at us when we don't "do it right" in front of district people.
It seems to me that when admin "taught" us what lesson internalization was, they didn't check for understanding, they didn't think of common misconceptions, and they didn't have a plan for how to assess who learned the material and who needs reteaching.
