Nerve pain

Hi I was wondering what I should do as I have suspected endometriosis, since my 3 week bleed came to an end I've been experiencing nerve pain.

The pain was first in the lower left of my back, left ovary going down to my big toe. Now it's just in my left leg as nerve pain but when I stand for over 5 mins, my leg feels like it has a pulse for it goes and nearly makes me fall over.

I have a telephone appointment next Wednesday for this, no doctors available today. They told me to go to a pharmacy for co-codamol but that's not gonna do much. I'm worried as tomorrow I do have my pelvic ultrasound that I've waited weeks for but I'm scared that I'm gonna fall over as soon as I walk down the hospital corridor.

I am alone as I'm away from home for uni, do I cancel and get it rescheduled at my hospital at home so someone can go with me or do I risk it? The waiting times for these is like 6-10 weeks and no painkillers have helped which also goes for mefenamic acid which is playing up with my GERD (chronic acid reflux).

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks 😌

Suspected endometriosis

Hi, I'm 22 and I feel since November 2025 my body has gone up against me. I started bleeding on the mini pill (POP) for a few months after 5 years (2025) without a period and just a once yearly one. Then since I've had lots of blood tests which show I have raised ESR levels and small red blood cells plus my iron binding capacity is 8%.. but ferritin in normal.

I've been referred for a pelvic scan which is next friday, I've waited weeks for it and since march I was referred to gynaecology and put on a double dose of my mini pill. Since the 26th of April I've basically been bleeding and in pain mostly at night with cramps. I do have tranexamic acid and mefenamic acid for pain and heavy bleeding but it seems my bleeding is so mixed I only use tranexamic acid when I think it's suitable. Mefenamic acid shouldn't really be used as I'm asthmatic but paracetamol doesn't touch the sides unless I'm in very bad pain so I pair up with mefenamic acid and a hot water bottle.

I've been carrying on with my double dose of the pill because I want the scan to be as accurate as possible to hopefully find out why I'm bleeding on it. I was tested for PMOS (old name PCOS) as my sister has it, but of course blood test for my hormones aren't accurate on the pill...

Recently its like a simple walk to the shop has in my pain and starts me bleeding again, I feel like I'm grieving who I used to be. I loved going for a walk and now I genuinely feel terrible.

I'm in a difficult situation as I'm finishing my university degree in June, yes I've missed a lot of classes and been at the doctors or in my accommodation instead but the thing is, I'll be going home and I'll have to swap doctors again. I'm dreading the fact I'll be fresh on the waiting list again for gynaecology.. plus it seems I'll be requiring doctors notes as to why I can't work, I'm going to be graduating in biomedical science so this really sad.

They keep mentioning the mirena coil but the thing is I don't feel comfortable having it done, to bleed for even more weeks. I am unsure until I have had my scan of whether trying to stop the pill to see how my cycles are now I'm 22 and not 15 or depending on the results, try something else.

I'm not gonna list every single symptom as I'll be here all day but I have a diary on my notes app writing each thing down so I'm at least prepared. I just don't know what to do, it's like I studied to be the patient and I'm a victim of my own knowledge 😅.

I'll be grateful for any advice you can give, thank you.
