I have an outdoor musical coming up, and I need to purchase a Lighting Package for it. It will be in South Florida, technically outside, but up under a covered roof/amp.

The budget is roughly 10-12k for everything.

Has anyone used indoor lights outside, in this type of environment. Will I be ok? or do I need to go for IP65.

This is one of the only outdoor productions we do, but it happens once a year. Everything else is inside. The IP65 are twice the cost, so it would be 1/2 the rig.

Looking for real world advice on Risk vs the Reward here....

I have my usb formated to fat32. I download and extract the new software packgae directly to my blank usb root directory. Plug usb into node. turn node off, and back on. Blinking encoder and a blank gray screen. Force update over network, and it just kicks my node out of session with no update. i have tried ONpc package, i have tried full package, and i have tried the standard software packages all with the listed methods above. NODE WILL NOT UPDATE.

does anyone have advice on this? submitted a request via the ma website bc i feel something is very off here. its a 2konpc node. pretty sure it had 2.3 when i got it a few months ago, so I haven't had to do this before.
