Has anyone else noticed how poor the uniforms that student paras in Scotland are? Some loose fitting Cargo trousers and a cotton polo shirt a helmet and a couple jackets. The only high vis stuff they get is a massive trench coat that would be horrible to wear at a RTC during the summer. And no proper waterproof jacket.
Is it just me be pedantic or is there definitely room for improvements here?
Student Para here, recently on placement and I’ve had 2 PLEs/sudden deaths in a very short time, the first one wasn’t all to distressing and I done what I had to and have processed it in a way I’m comfortable with, but I’m struggling to process the second one, Pt was young, had a family etc, however was found in a very natural position and the way They were found just felt off. Police deemed it as non-Suspected but I can’t help but feel it was such a strange way for someone to pass away without there being some sort of foul play or being forced into the position they were in, I know I can’t be there to save everyone and I don’t feel like I fear these types of jobs, but for some reason I just can’t seem to process this specific job and I can’t stop thinking about how this could’ve happened.
