How to improve landings

Guys how can I really improve my landings? I’m on like my 7th TOL lesson and I’m still not doing good whether I’m getting too slow on base or final, I’m uncoordinated, too high, off centerline, not correct wind corrections, etc I’m still making basic mistakes and I feel like I’m just wasting money. What can I do?

Is it normal to be paying around 550-600 for a 1.9 hour flight?

As the title states. I am part 61 PPL student and I just don’t know if this is right it seems a bit too expensive… just wondering if this is how most of it is and if I just have to suck it up.

Edit: I won’t lie, I’m not really paying for this, my parents are in a position where they are able and willing to but I feel incredibly bad after seeing how much it’s costing and I really just want to make sure I’m not getting scammed or paying too much.

How to tab Far/Aim?

I am a student pilot and I’ve seen many people ask this question before. For the most part, I’ve seen the answer of do it yourself and reference ACS for it. However, I want mine to be more neat and organized, do you think it would be acceptable/still helpful to buy tabs(not pre tabbed) and tab it myself while referencing ACS and understanding what each FAR gives me just so it’s more organized and easier to navigate. Please leave opinions and any other ideas!

How did you actually learn everything for the oral exam

I’m a student pilot working toward my Private Pilot Certificate, and I’m starting to get pretty stressed about the oral portion of the checkride.
I took an aviation class in high school that was designed to teach everything needed for the FAA knowledge test. I feel like I could pass the written, but I’ve realized a lot of what I know is memorized rather than truly understood.
I recently started looking through the Private Pilot ACS, and it’s overwhelming. It feels like every task has a huge list of knowledge areas that I should be able to explain in depth to a DPE. I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to learn and fully understand everything that’s listed.
For those of you who have already gone through this, how did you study for the oral? Did you work through the ACS one item at a time? Use the PHAK and AFH? Watch YouTube videos? Buy an oral exam guide? Or did your CFI mostly prepare you? I genuinely want to understand the material well enough that I can explain it confidently instead of just reciting memorized answers.
Any advice on how you approached learning everything in the ACS without feeling completely overwhelmed would be greatly appreciated.

Working at one FBO and training at another

I’m looking to start my training for my private pilots license and there’s an FBO on my local airport that has a good training program and I know they’re good and it’s cheaper than a separate FBO however that FBO the one I’m looking to train at that is cheaper doesn’t have any job openings but the other one that’s more expensive and not as good does have job openings. I’m wondering would it be weird for me to train at this first FBO because it’s cheaper and has higher quality training but work at the other FBO because they have a job opening and I wanna be making money over the summer and learning more about aircraft?
