It was so he could sneak into her apartment, by blending with the CSU, to plant the bomb 💣 without arousing suspicion. So it wouldn't have mattered whether Montgomery put a protective detail on her or not, and it would have been impossible for Beckett to notice that someone broke into her apartment to plant the bomb because no one actually broke in, the bomb was already there🤯🤯🤯!<
