My favourite kubo ever is the loyal puppy with the golden hair! He's just so cute, and his cool expression really sells the cuteness. He's the only IP by popmart that i like.

Edit: would love to hear what the other Kubo collectors have to say as he isnt exactly the most popular IP and apparently his main demographic is adult men ( im a woman so i thought that was pretty funny) it's quite hard to find Kubo Fans compared to say SP so i really want to here your thoughts!

was at a fair today volunteering, when i saw this one vendor selling isos. She was selling out real fast so i went to take a look. Im not trying to say thta she's a bad keeper, but she was letting kids play with them, hold them in their hands etc, and to my horror one kiddo dropped an iso onto the concrete floor, picked it up and dropped it again and almost stepped on it. Kids are kids, but imo she was in the wrong for letting them do this. Worst still, when people buying the isos asked her what to feed them and how to take care of them, she told them "just keep em in a box with soil and feed them fish flakes. Water it once in a while" like HELLOOO? And the people proceeded to buy them. This is not the first time im seeing people dive into keeping isopods with zero research and the vendor being generally unhelpful or even just plain wrong.

So many people view isopods as nothing but playthings then proceed to mistreat them, probably because the general consensus is that they are easy to keep and because theyre really tiny and look like bugs. Yes they are relatively low effort pets but that does not mean you could just... Not care about them. The same thing could be said for goldfish or those pets that many people get for their kids.

Rant over. Im slightly pissed and hope this could change

First time owner here with a bunch of 8 adult cubis murinas. Today when i came back to take a look at the cucumber in the enclosure i saw a bunch fun sized buddies munching away. Although im super pumped, i had been planning to thicken the layer of substrate for a very long while and would be getting my substrate mix tmr, since my substrate is currently only... 2cm? Just wanted to ask if adding new substrate would crush my new pals. I'll make sure to add only slightly moist, non water clogged substrate in, maybe even by layers, but I have no idea if theyll still get crushed. Thoughts? Txs guys ^_^

New owner here! Have been with my shrimps for 2 weeks and things are going great, except i saw 2 ants wandering around the tank. Manually removed those mfs then probed around and found no more. However i think this might become a big problem so i taped clear Tape round all the ventilation holes, then taped double sided Tape on it to prevent more ants from coming in. I put the clear Tape on so replacement of double sided Tape can be made easier. I’ve already ordered some ant poison bait, but just want to know whether this method could effectively shoo those disgusting assholes away from my precious? Thank you!
