The raid name “The Wartorn Palace” is a pun:

1. The palace is torn by >!war with the rebel army!<
2. The palace is torn by >!War itself (Anathema)!<

Also, “there is no war inside the Fruman walls”, i think the war here also refers to >!Anathema!<

Just some of my thoughts. Major spoilers alert, don’t read unless you completed Fruma questline already:

>!After you complete The Wartorn Palace, a door in the hub of the palace opens, leading to winding stairs downwards. In the end you find a door with the five runes. You can try to place the runes on it but it won’t work, I presume it has something to do with resonance weaver. Since runes have some temporal effects, this door can be interesting.!<

>!At the end of TWP where you speak to Anathema, she tells you that she counts on you to counter Orphion and Saphanis, and that they will come soon with her gone. She also mentions that Two will surely contact us. I presume that at the end of the Fruma questline we will ultimately enter Dern, with the help of Two, (by appearance, Two looks like she has something to do with the Dark, also she’s the spymaster so we could rely on her to gather info), where we will directly counter Saphanis (or Saphanis AND Orphion sort of at the same time) after you “awaken” to your inner powers discussed in Apotheosis, when we will truly see what makes the Player so strong, and this will be the ultimate raid. The reason why I don’t think you will counter Orphion alone is that it makes the NOL raid look dumb.!<

There’s not actually a lore reason why the player is so strong: (major spoilers alert)

1. >!cleansed orphion of the parasite!<
2. >!beat the eye, literally a part of saphanis!<
3. >!single-handedly beat the sovereigns (scions of Anathema) and the queen!<
4. >!fought through the palace and the realm of war and killed Anathema, a realm beast literally on the same level of orphion and saphanis (mayber somewhat lower)!<

It doesn’t make any sense why the player can do this lore-wise.
