1953: the ituraga nuclear power plant opens in the Siberian tundra supplying northern Asia and Eastern Europe with clean power

1956: 90% of countries have signed the dawn accords

1960s: Madagascar is turned into an island wide mega city with a population of just under 500 million and becomes the heart of arstotska, the global rail system is built connecting almost every major city and a ton of minor ones

1980/90s: earthbound resources are becoming less profitable, overpopulation is starting to become a major problem with over 10 billion people, arstotska starts pouring money into its space agency and private space companies, people who have been to space are few and far between

1987: the katyusha national space station becomes operational 

1995: the first true orbital shipyard, the Richiesta station, produces its first ship, the Esploratore

2014: first fully self sufficient mars base comes online, 1/30th of humanity lives in space

2019: the first skyhook is completed cutting delta-v requirements in half

2022: the pink dawn’s construction begins at richiesta station, waylaying the Mietitore 

 2023: Dir Gottpflanze is created, providing light, oxygen, and food for ship crews

2028: the pink dawn is sent to alpha centori at stl speeds, it was the first but the purple dawn is started almost immediately after 

2032: medicine that can reverse aging is invented, greatly extending life expectancy 

2034: various shipyards including the richiesta station around earth, the alba station on the moon, and the Gros rouge around mars start producing Saulesse class cargo ships

2036: Mars’s surface is survivable with just an oxygen mask and goggles, several other planets in the system are being terraformed as well

2038: stable fusion reactors are developed and create way more power than nuclear reactors, massive space stations take advantage of these new reactors 

2041: durasteel is invented, 5 times stronger for the same weight than regular steel although it is more expensive and difficult to work with

2050s: in space mining and refining becomes common, 1/10th of the population lives and works in space

2068: the first space elevator is finished, allowing for extremely easy and cheap space access 

2074: the Williams process is invented, rock and stone can be broken into their base elements

2080s: faster than light data transfer technology becomes available allowing for communication between solar systems, start as simple text by the end of the decade real time zoom style meetings are possible 

2112: fusion reactors are efficient and light enough to be installed on spaceships, this allows for much larger colony ships, 4/5ths of humanity lives in space, yet earth is still bursting at the seams

2137: humanity encounters its first alien species 

2195: The hyperdrive is invented and tested, cutting interstellar travel time from 30 years to 30 minutes, 97% of humanity lives among the stars

2248: arstotska transforms an entire planet into a massive factory employing thousands, this planet is in the alpha centori system 

2267: sol’s population reaches 1 trillion, only about 5% of the empire’s inhabitants live their but it’s still the most full solar system 

2286: The bullfrog class freighter is developed, the first spaceship cheap enough to be purchased by middle class citizens, allowing them to move amongst the stars

2293: started construction of a Dyson swarm in the alpha centori system 

2332: the capital of arstotska is moved to andromeda from earth, andromeda becomes a planet wide city with 3 different layers stacked on top of each other 

2354: first contact with an intelligent alien civilization 

2376: the Dyson swarm around the sun of alpha centori is finally completed

2415: new ion engines are developed producing 1,000s of kn of thrust from just a couple hundred kw and a bit of argon

2443: solar reactors are developed, allowing ships to make miniature stars in their reactor, producing insane amounts of power and heat to hold off the cold of space

2500 “modern” arstotska, the age reversal medication has advanced so much that people are effectively immortal, arstotska has laid claim to about 60% of the Milky Way galaxy 

does this timeline sound ridiculous or is it feasible
