Best Standing Desk to Pair with Walkolution?

Hi all,

I just picked up a Walkolution2 with 3d tread from FB marketplace and I love it. I also got an uplift V3 4 leg 72x30 standing desk. It goes high enough, but i get an annoying amount of monitor wobble when I walk on the W2 - I was thinking the 4 leg V3 would be rock solid and I'm a bit disappointed. I removed the casters & tightened the screws & that made the wobbliness sort of workable but it is still annoying - I really want rock solid. I'm thinking about getting one of the walkolution options, but it seems some have said they are a bit wobbly as well - apparently the Fusion walkolution desk is very stable but it's too small for my setup (if it's the only rock solid option I might get one). What do you all use and is there a consensus on the best walkolution desk for stability? I only need to go up to 49-50". I'm curious as to what desks others on here are using. What's the meta?

Thanks!

About to buy.....a few questions

Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Walkolution 2 with the 3d therafloor. I have a few questions I'd love to hear some feedback on!

  1. I'm really wanting to get a Secret Labs MAGNUS Pro XL standing desk - however, its max height is 49.2" vs over 60" for the ones that are made to go with the Workolution. I'm 5'8 and I assume I'll be barefoot on the therafloor - any thoughts as to whether that will work for me? AI seems to think it will but I'd love to get some real feedback.
  2. For those of you who game on the Walkolution, how does it work with M&K? I'm thinking it might not be great for FPS but RPG type games would be fine.
  3. What is the best method for accurately tracking distance walked? I doubt my Garmin watch will track steps accurately, and also, I'll probably be walking slowly / smaller steps than normal while gaming/working, so I almost think steps are not the best guide - has anyone figured out a better way to track mileage?
  4. Any feedback on the therafloor 3d for those of you who have it? Is it as good as it looks? I'm thinking it would be great for your feed vs. a flat surface. I am thinking perhaps the unstable surface will make gaming/accurate mouse movements more challenging but prob worth it.

Thanks you!
