My daughter will be an in coming freshman. She plans to study electrical & computer engineering. What computer do upper classmates recommend we should get her? She currently has a Mac Air I believe current year. Can she survive her first year with this one or should I get her a non Mac computer? Oh yea the Mac she currently has was a gift from a computer science/coding foundation she got into. She was enjoyed coding in high school and is taking this 6 month program. She gets to keep the Mac after completing the program. Just not sure if it will work for her. If I recall someone mention it during launch that a Mac wasn’t the best option.

Is there a specific size allowed for a mini fridge? I have a friend that want to pass along a small fridge bigger then those mini fridge and a tea kettle.

Still currently waiting to find out what housing I’m getting. Does anyone know how long this process takes. I feel like other colleges the students have all of this figured out!
I also want to know the cost since my parents are using parent plus loan to play for my 1year of housing. All I see is that on my financial aid parent plus’s says 10,000 something but I have not been offered a place?

From these two opportunities what is the best one? My daughter is looking into them.
