I’m struggling to decide between becoming a teacher or a BCBA. I have experience as an RBT, but the burnout and lack of support are real. I do love the work, and I thought becoming a BCBA would be a good choice for me. However, when I think about the negatives I’ve experienced and hear the horror stories from others, it makes me want to consider going the teaching route instead. At the same time, it seems like teachers deal with many of the same struggles. Any advice?
