Free browser proxy printer — added double-sided backs, but I need a printer-accuracy sanity check

Browser-based: paste a decklist, preview,

export print-ready PDF/PNG sheets. Client-side only, nothing uploaded.

Added double-sided backs this round — upload your own back image,

get a mirrored back page for duplex printing.

Also lets you swap any card's front with your own image. What do

you end up using that for — alters, custom art, higher-res scans,

proxies for cards that don't have great official art?

https://themagicianprinter.com/— if anyone prints a sheet, would love to see how it turns

out, feel free to drop a photo in the comments.

I rebuilt my browser-based MTG proxy printer — new design, double-sided backs, and custom card art. Would love feedback.

Hey all,

A while back I made The Magician Printer, a free, browser-based tool that turns a decklist into print-ready proxy sheets for playtesting. I just pushed a chunk of updates and wanted to share them and get some honest feedback.

What's new:

  • 🎨 Full redesign — cleaner, faster workspace. Paste your list on the left, cards show up on the right, export options are right there. The preview now loads automatically as soon as you paste a deck.
  • 🔄 Double-sided printing — upload your own card-back image and it generates a mirrored back page, ready for duplex printing. (I don't bundle any card backs/art, so you bring your own.)
  • 🖼️ Custom card images — swap any individual card's front with your own PNG/JPG/WebP. Handy for alters, custom frames, or higher-res scans.

Still there: choosing specific printings per card, token support, PDF or PNG/ZIP export, A4/Letter, and gap/cut-guide options for easy trimming.

I'd really appreciate feedback on:

  • Does the new layout make sense / is anything confusing?
  • How's the print accuracy (card sizing at 100% scale)?
  • Any features you'd want next?

Everything's meant for playtesting and casual/kitchen-table use. Thanks for taking a look — happy to answer any questions in the comments!
