Hate it or hate it but the contest is lowk good - hear me out
Okay this might be extremely controversial, specially comming from me but I believe the latest contest has its own perks...
Let's start with downside first tho cause why not
1st and this is kinda imp ... Some post surfaced a day or two ago that the actual jersey they will give is not even the one wore by actual players ... If this is true then fuck you matiks this was very disheartening
2nd ofc the luck factor as much to say that the event is purely random as the makers of the event say i believe there is some amount of backend code they are running to stop players from getting 11/11 cards .. and that makes sense too honestly .... Like imagine if it was that easy to get 11/11 cards in 150 duels or so then probably everyone would have gotten it and the company who is in pre revenue rn would face massive burns and nonone wants that ... But still luck is a big upset on this contest which is very ragebaity
3rd this contest just means I need to spend more time in matiks doing duels etc etc and the mental fatigue is very real plus the stress of not loosing a match is also very real
BUT THE UPSET THAT I THINK
Some of you might beat me for this but I believe due to this contest many new people have started playing duels very frequently and this has atleast for me proved to be one of the best resource to increase my mental calculation which is very important for me cause I am an engineer myself and a fellow cat aspirant
I used to be a guy who only used to do daily ken ken in matiks and now solving 15-20 duels a day has genuinely shown incremental benefits to my arithmetic sums and it's kinda liberating
So even if I don't get any jersey or anything I am lowk still fine
