My lease ended as of July 31st, so it automatically converted into a month to month lease. I plan on extending by one more month (September) but my landlord said he got an offer to move in September 1st. As far as i know, the month to month lease agreement overrides any agreement he makes with a third party. What should i tell him? Should i start looking for a place or am I legally allowed to stay as long as a wish?
