“Glad we went animated in the end, but this could have been hilarious! 😂” - Duncan Jones

Looks like a grand night for all at the Egyptian Theatre in LA last night for ROGUE TROOPER with Q&A from Duncan and Producer Stuart Fenegan.

A sample of reactions...

"Bravo Duncan and all involved in the creation of the Beautiful Blue Brilliance that is ROGUE TROOPER! Gorgeous. Hilarious. Bonkers. “Hey Nineteen!” May the wisened distribution lords find and favor this fantastic film!" - Stephen L Sullivan - Bluesky

"Very happy to have had two of the cast on the stage with Stuart and I! BAGMAN & HELM." - Duncan Jones - Bluesky

"Rogue Trooper was placed in the correct hands. Breath taking scenery/landscapes. The action sequences and humor mesh so well. And that soundtrack! I hope by years end Duncan has a distribution deal and a release date announcement." - Amber Keplinger - Bluesky

"Saw Rogue Trooper today at Beyond Fest. 11/10! The best possible expression of the lone clone!

I don’t know what we did to deserve something this good.

Duncan Jones. You nailed it, sir!" - Jason Bender - Bluesky

"Want to see an incredible comic book movie? ROGUE TROOPER. Man." - Chris Cantwell - Bluesky

"Just returned from seeing the new animated feature ROGUE TROOPER (2026) at BeyondFest. Based on the comic series published in 2000 A.D., it’s an independent production written and directed by Duncan Jones.

It was fantastic, and captured the comic perfectly—the satire, the dark humor, the punk rock subversiveness, the brutal violence, the sheer Britishness of it all. The whole thing couldn’t be *more* 2000 A.D. if it tried." - Jack LesCamela - Threads

>What I want to do is be successful enough that 2000 AD has the opportunity to make more movies because they were incredible partners and really supportive of what I wanted to do. They have so many characters and there’s some fantastic directors that we all know who want to make those movies, so I hope that happens because I want to see those films.
