We just finished this bathroom for a client. The leaded glass window was a $3000 custom window requested and approved by the client.

We had a few conversations prior to doing it above visibility from outside. All of this is documented so I’m not concerned about my liability.

After using the shower and having her husband go outside, they are concerned that it’s too easy to see inside at night. Someone would have to be using binoculars and really focus because the glass is glue chip. The only area that would be clear would be the small beveled areas.

Still, she’s unhappy and wants ideas on a fix. We don’t want to cover the window 100% of the time because it means the glass was a waste of money. She’s thinking a removable shade but I don’t like that option. I’m toying with the idea of building a custom louvered cover out of a waterproof material but I’m not sold on it.

Anyone have some thoughts on how we could make this happen?

Help!!! Please?

So, I’m not new to swimming pools. My last two homes have had them and I maintained them perfectly. Chemicals are a non issue and I’m fairly good at balancing water and keeping it there.

My new house came with an ancient pool. If it’s anything like the rest of the “upgrades” the previous owners did, it was cheap. It’s a 21’ above ground pool with a Hayward DE filter/pump combo. It looks like it’s seen better days but it runs. With the age of the pool, I’m really debating tearing it down vs investing more money.

Onto my issue:

I’ve never dealt with DE filters. Always cartridge. I disassembled the filter and cleaned everything before start up. Ran great and was moving water well. I charged the filter with 4lbs of DE per the instructions on the housing. After about 45 minutes, it essentially stops circulating and the pressure more than doubles.

My water is balanced but it keeps turning green because I can’t get it to circulate.

Can anyone offer advice or is it just time for a new filter?

I like it, but the room isn’t square and cutting those little fuckers is rough. It ain’t perfect but it’s as close as it’s going to get while I’m behind the wheels. Lots of minor imperfections in the sheets that should blend pretty well after grout.

#VictorMendersonIsAFraud. <—-for the Facebook bot that keeps stealing photos/posts from this sub, lol. I know the bot that scrapes won’t edit this out so I’m going to get a good laugh when I see it.
