NHS Pathway options?

Does anybody know if it is possible, in the UK, to get a private gender incongruence diagnosis and surgery referral and then use those to get surgery on the NHS?

I was trying to see if it was possible so that I would only need to wait for a surgery consultation and then surgery date rather than needing to wait to even be referred to a GIC to then wait even longer for a diagnosis etc.

I haven't been able to find anything on it, and it likely isn't an option but I thought i'd ask, just in case there's any chance of skipping the extra years an NHS diagnosis can add.

Top Surgery Abroad - Options?

Hi, I am trying to save up to privately fund my top surgery as the wait on the NHS is far too long for me to even consider it as an option.

I have been really drawn toward the idea of going abroad for my surgery due to the cheaper cost and also the fact that lots of clinics operate on informed consent rather than requiring a gender dysphoria diagnosis which I don't have and once again refuse to wait for on the NHS.

Currently, I've been really drawn to getting my surgery done in Turkey by Dr Serkan which I would book via one of his ambassadors (@ftmscotland on TikTok). This has seemed like a good option for me as booking with Dr Serkan, the cost would cover my hotel stay, travel to the hotel and hospital and the surgery with the only extra costs being about £40 in prescriptions and the flights. Also, booking via a person who has had surgery with this surgeon really appeals to me as well.

However, I wanted to ask if anyone has any reason to not use Dr Serkan or book via his ambassador. And if there is a reason not to have my surgery done this way, what else would you suggest?
