Upgrading 2017 CX-9 Touring to All-Auto Windows - Is this switch swap possible?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently driving a 2017 Mazda CX-9 Touring (RHD). One thing that really bugs me is that only the driver’s window has the "Auto" up/down feature. I’m looking to upgrade so that all four windows have the one-touch auto function from the master switch.
I’ve attached a photo of my current setup, where you can see only the driver’s button is labeled "Auto."
I found a listing for a replacement master switch that looks like it might be from a higher trim level (like the Azami/Signature).
My questions for the group:
Has anyone successfully done this swap? Is it a simple "plug and play" into the existing harness?
Do the passenger window motors in the Touring trim actually support the auto-up/down feature, or would I need to replace the motors/regulators too?
If the factory switch swap doesn't work, has anyone had good luck with those aftermarket "Plug-and-Play" window modules from eBay or AliExpress?
Appreciate any advice or part numbers you can share!
