What do you think about Tepeu? (Minor FGO spoilers)
In FGO's Lostbelt 7 we meet a race of sentient dinosaurs called Deinos and among them, there's Tepeu who follows the main characters in their journey. Later in the story he's revealed the have the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception thus being the LB analog or a reference to Tohno Shiki. There's also the LB version of Archetype Earth. But I want to focus on Tepeu.
I just recently read through the original and remake VN of Tsukihime and o thought their personalities were very different. Tepeu is very antisocial and nerdy, despite actually being very friendly.
But thinking about it a little deeper. In Tsukihime you're always reading the story from a first person perspective, while in FGO you related to him on third person. So our perception of Tepeu could be somewhat similar to how other characters perceive Shiki.
There's also the fact that he's much older them Shiki, just like Muramasa is a oldman Shirou. Tepeu could just be and older version of Shiki.
What are your impressions of this character? Do you think he's written as just a reference to Shiki or you can see him as an alternate older Tohno Shiki?
