Coinbase india - understanding tax for perps
So i just registered on coinbase india and made a deposit, but to trade perps it's asking me convert INR from my wallet to USDC.
Is this a tax event ? can anyone explain how it works ?

So i recently posted this and found out that perps trading is taxed at your normal slab rates. I'm not completely sure of this information so I need to know the experience of people who are actually doing it.
Does anyone here do perps trading on an FIU registered exchange like delta and coinbase ? Did you pay your taxes ? Please tell about your experience.
So i was checking out FD backed credit cards on IDFC bank app, i accidentally clicked on a card then it started to ask me for details.
Their shitty app didn't provide any option to go back so i thought if I just completed these basic details i would get the option to choose again.
Once all the details were filled, I was asked to make an FD, still no option to go back or anything. So i just closed the app without thinking much but later I got this email about enquiry.
I'm trading in crypto for last few months and I've been using the cryptoindia group to cashout my profits through CDM. I take the money in my savings account, usually 40-60k a month. I currently have two savings account from different banks.
I want to know if it's safe to keep doing this or should I stop before I get into any legal issues, I want to know experience of people who are doing this for atleast 2 years.
I'm 20, my CIBIL score is 742 and i would like to get a good credit card that give cashback, currently I have a secured card from Kotak and one unsecured card from from slice.
I tried to find good cashback credit card and it seems the only good card I'm eligible for is flipkart axis bank credit card.
Here's the problem, i need to provide my employment details which I can't for some personal reasons. I do earn enough tho, I've never missed payments on my other cards.
I asked gemini and it told me just apply as self employed IT guy with earning of 4,00,000/year. Should I go with this suggestion ? Can I get into any kind of trouble ? Are there any better way for me get this or any other good credit card ?
Thank you for reading through all of that, i hope experts here can help me.
So I'm new to investing and even more in crypto, so i recently found out that bitcoin is falling rapidly and might for another year. Would it be an good idea to start investing now ? I'm thinking of putting $50-100 every month, is it a good idea or should I wait till the end of this year ? Thanks for reading, please let me know your opinion in my investment plan.
I used to invest mutual funds and my portfolio was 75% indian equity and 25% gold but I recently sold all of them and now I'm completely changing my investment plan.
I'll invest 10k every month, my risk appetite is very high and i want to invest for long term (15-20 years) while sticking to same strategy. This time I've decided invest in ETFs rather than mutual funds.
Here's what i got after doing my own (AI helped me) research.
4k on "UTI Mutual Fund - UTI Gold Exchange Traded Fund (GOLDBETA)". why ? Good enough AUM, least tracking error, and reasonable expense ratio.
2k on "Nippon India ETF Nifty Next 50 Junior BeES (JUNIORBEES)". Why ? Potentially higher return than just nifty 50, expense ratio and tracking error are low and AUM size is good.
2k on "Nippon India ETF Hang Seng BeES (HNGSNGBEES)". Why ? Because I couldn't find any better alternative, expense ratio is high imo but I think that's normal for international funds.
2k on "Mirae Asset S&P 500 Top 50 ETF (MASPTOP50)". Why ? Again because I couldn't find any better alternative, expense ratio and tracking error are less compared HNGSNGBEES and AUM size is similar.
I think it's a good diversification but I'm not an expert (took help from AI) so need my investment plan reviewed by experts here. Any improvements are appreciated, if everything is alright then I'll go ahead start SIP (i use groww app) for each of these.
