Hello! I'm wondering how October break is generally used by engineering students at EPFL.

I'm thinking of going to visit my family during that week but I wanted to get some feedback as to if that would be a wise choice or if I'm better off using that time to study. For example I know many people would advise not to take December off because of exams, I was wondering if maybe something similar applies to October or not.

Hello I wanted to get feedback about which bank is the best for someone coming to EPFL for their bachelors.

Preferably a bank that doesn't charge too much for international transfers (Like if my parents need to send me money).

From what I understand I can register for a VIP 17910 course on my scheduling assistant but it tells me I need to request an override or something like that. Am I doing this correctly?

I passed the B2 with 80% and so I can understand French fairly well, but I can't write for my life. I can also speak decently well but it's not great. Given how academically rigorous EPFL is and the 40% pass rate, will the fact that I struggle in French make it even harder for me? I would appreciate any feedback about this and what it's like for someone like me.
