Thoughts on Suntarine Perkins?

I was looking at some of the linebackers in this class and was pretty impressed with Suntarine Perkins. He's got great speed and athleticism, and he's good in coverage, against the run, and at getting after the QB. His frame is a legit concern, however, and he has had issues with missed tackles. He's a hybrid player between edge and LB, and I wanted to ask how y'all feel about him as a prospect. How early is he worth selecting, and is he better fit as an edge rusher or off-ball LB at the next level?

How many wide receivers do you believe will go in the first round in 2027?

One of the biggest strengths for this upcoming class is the wide receiver position. While Jeremiah Smith and Cam Coleman look to be first-round locks, there's a massive group of WRs that, at varying levels, have a chance to be picked on day one. I know it's extremely early, but I wanted to ask y'all how many first-round caliber receivers you believe there are in this class?

Thoughts on Charlie Becker?

Indiana lost several of its top contributors from a year ago, including their two top WRs. Charlie Becker came on towards the end of the season, and I'm excited to see how he does now that he'll have a bigger role in the offense. He's got great hands and is incredible in contested-catch situations. I wanted to ask how y'all feel about him as a prospect? I have him as my WR3, and I could see him being the consensus WR2 behind Jeremiah Smith after this season.

What are some under-the-radar college teams to watch for 2027 NFL Draft prospects?

College football is back in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering about the under-the-radar teams that have a good amount of talent for this upcoming class. Ohio State, Texas, Miami, etc clearly have plenty of future NFL talent, but I wanted to ask y'all about schools that don't get as much national attention but can play a big role in this upcoming draft. Whether it's less recognized Power Four programs, or teams from the Group of Six, or even FCS.

Thoughts on Nyck Harbor as a prospect?

Nyck Harbor is one of the most fascinating prospects in this class. Like his quarterback, LaNorris Sellers, he has an incredibly high ceiling but a low floor. His measurables and speed are off the charts, and he's a great deep threat. He showed some improvement in 2025, but there's still plenty of room for improvement. I wanted to ask what y'all's thoughts are on him as a prospect and what round you believe he will be selected in?

Early top five quarterbacks for the 2027 NFL Draft

This upcoming QB class looks great on paper, and it might tie the record for the most quarterbacks picked in the first round (six). A lot can change between now and next April, but I wanted to share my early top five prospects at the position and hear which QBs y'all believe are the best.

  1. Darian Mensah (I'm higher on him than most, admittedly)

  2. Dante Moore

  3. Arch Manning

  4. Drew Mestemaker

  5. CJ Carr

There are a few other good prospects on the board, but these are the ones I like the most.

Arizona Cardinals 2026 NFL Draft Grades

https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2026/04/25/arizona-cardinals-2026-nfl-draft-grades/

The Cardinals are in a rebuild and are in a tricky spot for the next couple of seasons. They're in a division with three legit Super Bowl contenders, and have a ways to go before being in the mix. Arizona used the third pick on Jeremiyah Love, a decision that seems to have split reactions. I wanted to ask how you felt about their 2026 NFL Draft and how they did in improving their roster?

Thoughts on Cayden Green?

Cayden Green is one of the top offensive line prospects entering the 2026 season. He played predominantly at guard his first two collegiate seasons, but thrived at left tackle in 2025. What are your early thoughts on Green as a prospect? How does he stack up among the top linemen in this class, and do you believe he's better suited as a guard or tackle at the next level?

Charlie Becker or Nick Marsh, which Indiana WR do you believe will be the better prospect in 2027?

Indiana lost several pieces from its national championship squad, including WRs Omar Cooper Jr. and Elijah Sarratt. Despite losing two notable WRs, they have two players who are among the top prospects at the position for 2027. Charlie Becker returns, and Nick Marsh comes in as a transfer from Michigan State. I haven't done in-depth scouting on either yet; I saw some of Becker last season but didn't watch much Michigan State, so I didn't really see Marsh play. I know it's early, but I wanted to ask who you think is the better WR prospect and if you believe they're worth a first-round pick?

Thoughts on LaNorris Sellers?

The 2027 QB class has several prospects with first-round potential. LaNorris Sellers is the most interesting to me, as he has an incredibly high ceiling but a lower floor. His size, arm strength, and athleticism are elite, but his accuracy is hit-or-miss, and he's struggled with ball security. He was viewed as a potential first-overall pick for the 2026 draft, but regressed in 2025. I wanted to ask what your opinion is on Sellers as a prospect. He's a player who could be a bust or a top 5 QB in the NFL, and neither would surprise me.

Cam Coleman or Ryan Williams as WR2 in the 2027 NFL Draft?

Jeremiah Smith is pretty well established as WR1 and likely the top overall prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. I wanted to ask: after Smith, do you prefer Cam Coleman or Ryan Williams as WR2? Of course, it's still very early, and there's a whole season of college football to be played. With that being said, do you believe Coleman or Williams is WR2, or do you think another prospect is the second-best in this class?

Favorite pick in each round of the 2026 NFL Draft

I wanted to share what I believe was the best pick in each round of the 2026 NFL Draft. I also wanted to ask: which pick-your-favorite was in each of the seven rounds? There were a lot of steals in the later rounds, with several prospects hearing their name called later than expected.

First Round- Caleb Downs (11th overall), Dallas Cowboys

Second Round- Avieon Terrell (48th overall), Atlanta Falcons

Third Round- Emmanuel Pregnon (88th overall), Jacksonville Jaguars

Fourth Round- Jermod McCoy (101st overall), Las Vegas Raiders

Fifth Round- Keith Abney II (157th overall), Detroit Lions

Sixth Round- Harold Perkins Jr. (215th overall), Atlanta Falcons

Seventh Round- Deion Burks (254th overall), Indianapolis Colts

Will the 2027 QB Class live up to the hype? Or have a similar drop off as 2026?

I have already seen plenty of buzz surrounding the 2027 quarterback class. Arch Manning and Dante Moore headline a class that many are projecting will have five or six QBs taken in the first round. I wanted to ask whether you believe this early hype will stick or fade as it did with the 2026 class? While I am impressed with the talent at the position, I am cautiously optimistic. Several prospects were viewed as slam-dunk first-rounders in 2026, but either fell down the board or returned to school.

What am I missing with the Dolphins drafting Kadyn Proctor 12th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft?

One of the first-round picks from this past draft that I still don't really get is Miami taking Kadyn Proctor over various other prospects with the 12th pick. For starters, I don't get trading back one pick when they could have just picked Caleb Downs, a much safer prospect at a position of need. Even after trading back, I felt there were several better options available, and considering how many needs the Dolphins have, they could have gone in so many different directions. I get Proctor's upside and his incredible measurables, but I've seen a lot of talk that he'll play guard at the next level. His technique is very raw, and his floor is much lower than that of other top prospects. It's not that I can't see him being a good player, but I felt there were so many better options for Miami, even after moving back and letting Dallas get Downs.

Can Jadarian Price be the best RB out of the 2026 NFL Draft?

Jeremiyah Love was the consensus RB1 in this class (and rightfully so). But his Notre Dame teammate Jadarian Price is an intriguing talent going to a strong situation. Running backs' success is predicated a ton on the situation, and Price is going to the defending Super Bowl champs. With Kenneth Walker gone and Zach Charbonnet fresh off a major injury, I could see Price being the best rookie back this year. I wanted to ask if you believe Price can be even better than his college teammate at the next level?

Favorite day-three pick in the 2026 NFL Draft outside of Jermod McCoy

The last day of the NFL Draft gets the least amount of attention, but every year, there are gems found in rounds 4-7 who seemingly come out of nowhere. I wanted to ask which prospect selected on day three is your favorite, aside from Jermod McCoy. McCoy was a first-round caliber talent who fell due to injury concerns, so he's understandably the most common answer to this question. But who are some other later-round picks that you really like?

Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion were both widely considered as tier 2 WR prospects in this class, just below Tate, Tyson, and Lemon. I personally really liked the Browns' draft, in particular getting both Boston and Concepcion. I wanted to ask which WR prospect you prefer? I slightly prefer Boston, as he has more reliable hands and projects well as an X-receiver. His speed and agility aren't great, but he's good enough as a route runner paired with his size. Concepcion is a better route runner and more explosive after the catch; he just needs to improve consistency with avoiding drops. I like both prospects, and it's a very close call as far as who's better.

https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2026/03/26/blake-miller-2026-nfl-draft-profile-2/

The Lions picked OT Blake Miller out of Clemson with the 17th overall pick. Miller is an experienced right tackle, starting 54 games in college. I wanted to ask your thoughts on the pick and Miller as a prospect? I like him and think he has a high floor as a quality tackle. Detroit needs to revamp its O-line, after losing several key pieces. It sounds like they will move Penei Sewell over to LT and start Miller at RT.
