Thoughts on VNDL 48

I don't watch much mainstream wrestling anymore so VNDL 48 was my stable of the year. I love Atticus and was overjoyed when he returned and also when he won the title. Otis has always been a solid big man and I was pushing for him to win the uv title after his performance in ToS X. I hadn't seen napier much but he slowly grew on me, especially in the VNDL's fued with Matt Tremont, where he was a big part of it and had his best career match, at least I assume. I love VNDL 48 and I have been enjoying Atticus's title reign a lot, I have enjoyed both of Otis's title reigns and I think napier's work has been really good recently.

Thoughts on GCW(Game Changer Wrestling).

So I've been watching GCW since Bad One in 24 and I've watched a ton of thier archives and watched almost every event in the past two years.

I am going to share the history of GCW and share my thought on the promotion. Be ready for a long read cause this is probably going to be a ramble

For some background if you didn't know, GCW started out as Jersey Championship Wrestling in 2000, It ran till 2004 before a hiatus until 2013 when it returned. The yearly Jersey J-Cup also debuted in jcw in 2000. The company ran again until 2015, where it was purchased by Brett Lauderdale, a CZW ref, and Danny Demanto, an 8ndy wrestler who now runs NHB-The Chains, and repackaged into Game Changer Wrestling. It was called this because of Brett and Nick Gage's vision was to change the game in the dwindling deathmatch scene. The inaugural event, the Nick Gage invitational, did very well as a deathmatch Tournament. Gage was not present himself as he was out back jail. They also introduced the Tournament of Survival, one of the biggest deathmatch tournaments of the year. They introduced Spring Break, the biggest indy event of the collective, the biggest collection of indy events during wrestlemania week, and perhaps the biggest indy show of the year. The Collective was also introduced by them btw. GCW moved from deathmatch supercards into a good clusterf*ck of a wrestling show with lucha, technical, hard hitting, comedy, deathmatch, hardcore wrestling. They feature some of the best indy wrestlers going today featuring Marcus Mathers, Alec Price, Jonathan Greshem, Jordan Oliver, Joey Janela, Nick Gage, VNDL 48, Effy, 1 Called Manders, KJ Orso, Sam Stackhouse, Matt Tremont, Vipress, SLADE, Jimmy Llyod, Tony Deppen, Shotzi Blackhart, and many, MANY more.

I enjoy thier events a lot. Good and fun commentary, all different varieties of wrestling, amazing ring announcements from Emil Jay, and fun crowds make for a breezy watch. They are very consistent and tend to have 3 to 4 shows a month outside of the collective and Summerslam weeks. One of those also tends to be a bigger show. Weather it be the Berwyn show in January, Jersey J-Cup in Febuary, So Much Fun in March, The Collective in April, 2300 Sshow in May, TOS weekend in June, or Bash at the Ballpark in July. I was so sick of WWE and the Independent wrestling scene has revoked my love for wrestling, and it started with GCW. Those are my thoughts on GCW.
