Hey guys, quick timeline to understand if I’m missing something.
-Had the car tuned by javituned and everything worked perfectly. The car did have a slight idle adjustment issue but wouldn’t affect anything about drivability. I drove it home, parked it, and haven’t turned it on for about 3 weeks. I have 2 cars so I usually drive this car occasionally.
During the 3 weeks it sat, battery disconnect I should mention, I bought oem style ktuned cables as the car had cheap eBay cables that would get stuck all the time.
I also bought the dc5 creations battery trunk relocation kit. I had both of them installed maybe 3-4 weeks after the tune was done.
Now, my car can start up and idle but it seems now be in limp mode? It doesn’t rev past 4k rpm and i have had it off since then. The ecu can connect to my laptop but when I click the lightning bolt to datalog it shows false readings. I made sure every ground when doing the battery trunk relocation were installed correctly, but of course, that’s not true since this problem now arose. Please if you know anything that might be the solution or if you have any specific questions, I’m all ears because this has got me stumped.
Attached is a screenshot of the kmanager program that allows you to connect to the ecu from your laptop. It clearly shows false readings and looking online with very limited information, I did find some people had these exact issue but I could not find a real solution.
