Kickr Core 1 testing

Hi everybody. I’m certain my 6 month old Kickr Core 1 (purchased with Zwift Ride) is not behaving and I’m wondering if there is any tests I can do or some protocol to determine the Core’s power output.

I am using a Mac Mini M4 and built in Bluetooth. The Core is position about 190cm directly below the Mac. I have a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard close by and the Apple Trackpad - mention as maybe these interfere.

When riding as a steady cadence up a steady incline the power reading is never stable and I am set to 3s average power on Zwift.

Some side notes:
I link my workouts to intervals.icu.
Using the Polar H10 hr monitor chest strap.
Core firmware is up to date and spin down every 30 days.
When my Garmin Enduro 3 is connected to read the HR and power readings it definitely interferes to such a degree that I now don’t bother recording workouts with it.

Questions please:

  1. How do I determine if the power reading is unstable enough against what benchmark?
  2. Will an Ant+ dongle improve connection/readings?
  3. How do I extract my workout file for further analysis if needed?
  4. Am I being reasonable in my assumption that a steady cadence on a steady gradient the power reading should not fluctuate all too much?

Thanks for your help and guidance!
Ride on.
